ABOUT TMS THERAPY

Treating Depression At the Source

TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) is an innovative treatment for stubborn depression and other neurological conditions that treats issues at their source: the brain. Your brain has four different lobes that control specific functions. Chronic depression is associated with the prefrontal cortex, the area of the brain that is responsible for mood regulation. TMS therapy is designed to specifically target and treat this part of the brain in order to restore optimal function. By delivering low-impact electromagnetic impulses to this area, the brain is stimulated in ways that restore function and heal the mind from the inside.
